Kelly's voice is so fabulous - no need for cheesy extras
I felt like some of the things in this show were done to add extra theatrics and those elements simply detracted from her fantastic voice. For example, moving her up on a pedestal that rises higher and higher with a cheesy movie screen in the background - it seemed like they were pushing too much. Her voice captivates the audience - we don't need all the additional elements! It's a shame she can't perform this concert in the round for a more intimate feeling. Despite that, Irie Jungle Festival did a great job and her voice truly stood out; I just wish the performance had felt more intimate and less flashy.
